    Are u guys sure this works with Inspirons? Most newer memory (cheaper) use higher density chips (32x8) and wont work with my Inspiron 8100. Just want to check before I buy one.

    I want a good deal for 2 256MB PC133 SODIMM RAM sticks for Dell Insporon 8100. Apparantly the cheaper modules with high density chips do not work with the 8100 (???)

    Saw an open box ZE1110 at a local best buy for 999 . The sales guy says that the rebate shall apply and will come to 799. Does not have the physical box, but he says that they will provide all paperwork reqd to get the rebate. Hot? or not?

    More and more notebooks do not come with a floppy drive these days. Anyone tried using the emergency boot disks (NT, W2K, XP) with USB floppy drives?

    Even if the CPU is upgradable, you may not get the advantages of a mobile CPU unless the BIOS is updated too.
