I recently took out a fan from a HD enclosure and I believe it to be a 30mm fan. It's definitely smaller than a 40mm, and I don't know of any fan sizes between 40 and 30. My only issue now is finding a replacement. This fan is screwed directly to the case, and the old one vibrated alot...
