Woe is me for I too am waiting on the release to update my 9600 PRO. I even sent an email to Newegg asking for an update. Their reply was "if it ain't on the website, we don't know about it".
Sigh.:brokenheart:
My trusty Radeon 9600Pro has served me well, but, it is time to move on. I would like to replace it with an AGP card costing @$200 before there are no longer any premium cards being made for the AGP slot. I play BF2, etc.
Many thanks for your help
Suggestions?
Do NOT order a refurb from ReplayTV. I got one two weeks ago and it was physically beat all to hell, including a smashed remote control. After two weeks and four phone calls I finally got an RMA so that I can spend $12 shipping it back to them.
However!
1) Get a ReplayTV-it is a geeks dream...
Fedex or take a ride as checked baggage without dumping all the board at the bottom of the case. I demo software for a living and my Dell 530's "tool free" features turn it into a workstation kit after a ride on USAir. I'm getting tired of having to re-build my system in front of prospective...
Pardon my ignorance, but....
Would this excess load cause a slowdown in the transmission times of large data sets to the node?
Would it affect system performance in other ways?

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I sat down to fill out the forms today and noticed that the rebate was ONLY if you bought a P4 laptop. They said nothing about that in the store.
Sorry for posting the Dud. Does CompUsa always give you rebate forms for rebates that aren't valid?
at CompUsa. I bought one ( model WPC11 version 3) today without knowing anything about the rebate. It is not posted anywhere inside and I don't recall seeing it in the newspaper. When I checked out, the salesperson brightened up and said "wow, you just got that for the cost of the sales...
Absztrak
They made some changes in their tech support recently. Now there is no option that will get you a live body....it is just a menu with voice messages that direct you to their web page knowledge base.
I am now up to my third e-mail to these folks with no hope of an RMA.
I have come...
I am having HUGE problems with this thing. I upgraded the firmware and it still "drops" the remote computers constantly. They have NO tech support whatsoever. I have a system with a PCI card that can't find the network from two rooms and thirty feet away!
I'm looking to see if anyone else is...
I am having a similar problem with the 2624 router and the Speedstream PCI and PC cards. I can get both to work in the same room with the Router. However, the router constantly "drops" the connection to the network. The computer with the PCI card cannot even find the network from two rooms...
