    The opteron 146 is based on the san diego core. I just got mine today and got it up at 3GHz 1.52v right away. I had a 3700 san diego core and couldn't break 2.7 with it with ram 1:1.     I ordered my 146 monday from monarch (retail box) when it was priced at $181+shipping. It arrived today, CABYE 0540FPBW.
