It's a pretty decent DVD-ROM drive. It plays the CDR-s that was burned using a 16x TDK and also, DVD+R as well. The tray is slow coming out and shakes quite a bit. When it spins, you do hear the sound but most drives do that anyway. The Cyberlink PowerDVD software that comes with it works great...

Are you sure about the free shipping? I can't find it online and when I called the guy said it was $20 s/h. And the guy at Staples tells me that he won't pricematch 110% unless I buy it first and then found a cheaper price later on. Which means I only get 100% pricematch.
