After many different possible solutions tried, the prob was solved. i had to remove the mobo from the case, install a different cpu. then it was all (my old i5) back into the case (i had to remake all cabling :( ) and PROBLEM SOLVED! not sure what was the problem though... anyway thanks a lot...

i though of that also. i unplugged all and plugged all back carefully...and no POST!

nothing does seem to work. i even removed the batery for hours (with all cables unplugged) and nothing...

thanks guys, but i cant even reset the bios. the manual refers to recovering from a faulty upgrade, not reseting it. although i tried (as said on the manual) to save a .bio update file on a usb drive and restarted the pc without the jumper and still nothing... heres the cmos jumper...
