so far the ones that dont work are add remove programs, internet explorer, task manager,trillian and some times msn.

I recently installed Win xp pro and after finishing the installation installing a anitivirus program i went on the Internet to download some programs such as adaware and now when i try to start a program nothing happens and i have done numerous virus scans and ad aware scans and nothing helps...

Well I recently got a gigabyte k8 triton ga-kevt800 and this is a 64 bit mobo and i was wondering if its possbile to put in a none 64 bit cpu in. I know this is a long shot but since i dont have 300 bcuks it doesent hrt to ask.
