The Holocaust Museum sucks, imo. Went there in December for the first time and was very let down.
If you want seafood don't go to Legal Seafood, there are better places.
Dupont is pretty cool. Georgetown is also cool.
American Gothic is at the Renwick Gallery across from the White...
When I was in school I usually crammed a day before the exam. I found that studying for several days in advance was more productive. Unfortunately I had no discipline and only did this when I knew I was no where close to being prepared.
Don't know if it varies from state to state or not but I saw something on TV a few years ago (or maybe I read it) that if your car is completely in the intersection before the light turns red you are ok.
I live in Gaithersburg.
If you're looking to commute in on the subway you still need a car for errands in the suburbs.
PG county is not a nice area close to the city, but areas like Bowie and Laurel are fine.
Howard County is growing.

Nah, DC is definitely more expensive. I graduated from UVA last year and now live in the metro DC area.
Charlottesville is a little too small town for me to want to move to but I loved it as as student. I can't blame you there. Otherwise it's pretty nice. Although traffic is absolutely...
Sounds like you are lucky. Charlottesville certainly has cheap areas but overall it's not (although still cheaper than metropolitan areas). Shitsville it is not my friend.

Yeah, I say volleyball. In a lot of sports you can hide a bad player or two or work around them. In volleyball, if you are playing a good team that one bad player on your team can easily be the difference between winning and losing.
I'm an Envi-Sci major. Went to UVA. Don't know how highly regarded the program is but it was the first in the nation.
I know Duke and Maine both have excellent grad programs, I don't know what their undergrad programs are like though.
It's your call. If you don't think you are going to be comfortable there then you probably won't be. Why are you considering it in the first place? Is it a lot more money, closer to home, something else? There's more to life than money.
I could never work a job I hate just to make more money.
Selling your car in DC is not adviseable, even if you live downtown. The subway system in terms of convenience is not on par with a place like New York. Even if you live downtown you will likely make use of a car, even if it's not as frequently as commuting into town.
Also, housing is...
