I got the MSI 8600gts OC and yes once in a blue moon (1 time every 2 days) for a few seconds it runs at full fan speed ..Oh my god is it loud..but it doesnt last long..Sounds to me like you guys have the fans running full blast from factory....Personally I could due with full fan speed and noise...
