Due to some changes coming up in my job, I'm going to need to ditch my beautiful Athlon desktop for a notebook. If at all possible, I'd like to retain the abilty to play most 3D games... (the GeForce 2 Go or a Radeon 7500 mobility are a must) That said, what are the best Athlon laptops out...

XP Pro build 2600 final. It stops completely when I unplug my joystick. Thinkin about going to PS/2 on the mouse until SOYO/VIA/MS figures this out...

I've got a really wierd thing happening with USB in XP... I have an Intellimouse Optical and a MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick plugged into the two USB ports on the back of my system. When both are plugged in - about every 30 seconds, I get the Windows device connect and disconnect...

I'm getting pretty annoyed with the USB controller reset glitch... hope the new BIOS comes out soon to fix it. Anyone have any info on when this might happen?

Shiva, The board is dead, after the incident it will not turn on again. It's exactly what happened the first time it did this. I tried all the isolation troubleshooting and nothing brought it back up. I suspected a ground out or short the first time, but I couldn't find anything like that...

Read the last line of my system specs man, it's all going into an APC Back-UPS Pro 500. The line quality light says eveything is OK too. (no ground fault, etc...) What is the best brand of power supply for me to get. Cost really isn't an object here, I just want to make sure my computer...

I love the Tornado case. It is deffinetly not a POS and it much nicer than any other case I've owned. They even round the sharp edges so you don't cut your hand getting into tight places. Hoewever, if it's PSU really is causing my dead mobo's then it's bye bye...

I don't think the board is at fault, two separate baords wouldn fail on me in the exact same way. What do you guys suggest I get if I were to got out and buy a new Power Supply? Could a PSU really cause something to fry by under powering it? That notion seems a little weird since I would...
