Thank you for the advice! Why 2 256k and not 1 512k?

Ok, I'm ordering the Epox 8RDA+ with the Athlon 2100+ XP. I will get 2700 mem (512K) but I'm an idiot. I don't know the diff between ecc, reg, etcera... anyway, with that in mind, what specs of RAM do I NEED? I will probably by Corsair. I'm not an OC'er, I just want a fast system to waste...

I have finally decided on the Epox 8RDA+ board. I will be using the 2100+ XP and adding 512K of PC2700 RAM. My question is, does it make a HUGE differance if I just use generic memory. I have no interest in overclocking. If I shouldn't use generic, what do you all recommend? I really don't...
