    Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop (Dell says not compatible)

    Hello, I know this is a very old string...I have windows 7 installed on a 1501...however it frequently keeps freezing...i think it's the type of memory I have installed or its my video card Any suggestions?
