ugh....i hate to say but you might be right. you don't think it's a hardware failure though do you because it still boots up fine in Safe Mode? or am i wrong in thinking that?

So I get home from work yesterday?do some stuff around the house and all of a sudden I find that my case fans, including the CPU Fan and Video Card, are all NOT running for some reason?..the power supply fan is the only one running. The computer is running, meaning everything on screen is fine...

thanks for the suggestions. yeah...i don't plan to do any overclocking, so hopefully i won't have problems with the RAM. Oh, i thought the CD that came with the MB has the flash utility on it? am i wrong?

i'm getting my board in a few days from newegg and am wondering something. i'm guessing i'll probably have to do a Bios update and am not sure if this board has a windows based update or not? If not, can someone please give me directions on how to do it by floppy/cd or link me to a site...

^yes...lol..why? i want a 939 chip and eventually SLI...so i'm going for it now while i have the money available.

i'm not looking to overclock. i've also now thinking about maybe just going single core and get some extra ram instead..not sure though...or maybe going with a GTX with the extra money. thanks for your advice.
