Just wondering if it is worth the five bucks they charge for the stuff to clean arctic silver off of your CPU, or if good old rubbing alcohol works just as well?
Anyone help?
Cheers!
Just wondering what most of your h20 cooling folks out there do for maintenance on your system. How often you change water, flush system, clean things, etc.
Cheers!
I have the more simple enermax controller which has readings for 2 fans, and controls 6 total. I think I paid about $15. The lcd is not very easy to read, but you pretty much set the rpm's and never look at it again. Decent controller for the price.
I am pretty happy with my recent switch to h2o cooling. Probably spent $200-$300 altogether. Much less dust, slightly less noise, and much better temps, especially during the summer. This winter I can probably turn off most of the fans in my system.
They're actually both closed loop, i.e. there is not supposed to be any air inside the system, and the water is not exchaned on circulation. An open loop would be a bong setup, where the water isn't "closed" its "open".
Oakenfold to hard? Que'? He rocks. Has plenty of "softer" stuff if thats what your into.
He's just as hard as ATB (a.k.a. the King of Trance).
The guy above mentioned Ministry of Sound. Excellent recommendation. Good stuff. And don't forget Underworld.
Half the bottled water out there is being filled from the tap!
Remember a few years back when the army found out there bottled water was just water out of the tap from a company in the states! Suckers!
