To sum up, no really noticable performance Increase or Decrease from BIOS 2.1 to 2.2 r u using all three modules ???? or only two ,if u r using two modules you wont see any gains apart from the odd increase or decrease in small amounts. its when you use all three modules you no longer get...

it is all well and good releasing so called 3ghz or 4 ghz but Intel need to get that performance issue right ,there current batch boasts higher cpu ratings in terms of GHz or Mhz but they lack the performance to say a lesser rated processor from AMD .I think the whole concept of GHz etc has lost...

chrisconnolly i forgot to perform one last test on the nforce and that was using only dimm2 did u perform a test just on that bank populated. also chris im using the 2.02 bios i got from a source dated 5/11/01 do want a copy if so just email the address. brian... ps it may be why we are...

you probably got a three pin connector ,you need to move or put the two wires next to each other on the connector i.e pin 1 and 2 not 1 and 3 . Then fit as per manual i think is pin 1 and 3 on the mobo

hi all msi nforce supports 4 analog speakers it is set by a jumper on the mainboard,it actually uses the line in input socket to enable front and rear speaker support.(u have to set jumper to enable) i have only tested support for the 5.1 Dolby via the spidf connector,cant comment on EAX or...
