Now that the A8N-SLI is out, should we expect the A8N-E Platinum soon? Also, is the A8N-SLI exactly the same as the A8N-E Platinum but with the extra PCI-E slot for an extra video card? I'm growing impatient and may just buy the SLI board with one video card... That would basically be the same...

I do, for video editing. 2 Raptors in RAID-1 2 Diamondmax 10 300 GB in RAID-0 If I ever want to get another HDD, or maybe get a SATA Optical drive, I'm out of luck. Does the Chaintech even support NCQ?

Are you guys kidding? The Chaintech only has 4 SATA ports where the Gigabyte has 8, no 1394b, only one gigabit lan port... Definately not the same on features.

The Chaintech is crap compared to the Gigabyte Nforce 4 Ultra... The real question is when the Gigabyte board is coming out...

I'm going to be building a new computer for video editing, and am wondering about the availability of PCIe devices. I will need Firewire800, so how can I hook that up without over powering the PCI bus? Is PCI-X the only option or is there something about PCIe that I'm not seeing that will...
