In adding another stick of 512 memory to my dell. Does it really matter what brand of memory I use as long as it matches in pc2700 with a 2.5 case latency?

I have a dell dimension 2400 and I am going to swap out motherboard/case/memory with new stuff. When I run CPU-Z it tells me that my chipset is I845-G. Is a mothboard with I865-G compatible with this? The chips is a 478 Intel Celeron. Thanks.

its the dell dimension 2400,,, its pretty new just that my brother wants a better video card and he only has pci slots. Almost all these problems would be alleviated if i also bought a case too?

Um I bought into the hype of nvidia too but I miss my ATI 9800 PRO. Maybe its because the ATI was just better with Call of Duty or something but my MSI 6600 GT sux compared to my ATI Radeon 9800PRO that I had. I am considering however going with an eVGA 6800GT and giving nvidia another shot!
