My p4 cpu arrived from newegg, but i forgot to order a heatsink&fan with it. Any store in midtown new york that sells those? hope somebody know, I would hate to wait few more days for delivery of a heatsink&sink. thanx

I bought a retail mb that came in a mb box... of course the mb is in the antistatic bag, but what I am asking is, is the motherboard box suppose to be shrinkwrapped.

I dont know if this is off topic. I just bought a new abit ig7-g motherboard from newegg. It came today and it is not shrinkwrapped... no matter how I look at it from the outside of the box.. it looks like an previousely openned item. So my question for those who bought from newegg before...

thanks for all the responses another question is, is it possible to overclock the cpu with the memory speed staying at pc2700?

will the slowness be drastic compare to pc3200? also.. does this using slower memory apply to the latest p4 chips as well ?

I have been out of this thing for awhile now, back then cpu and mother and memory all run at same fsb times some multipliers. I guess the real questions is, now the cpu can run at 200fsb while memory on 166?
