    Buffalo Linkstation Live

UK Link Looking at that one. I've found a few reviews of older models, I assume they'll be fairly similar. Main uses are obviously for streaming media around a gigabit network to PS3 mainly, with some PC work. I've currently got TVersity set-up on the PC and that works very well...

looking to buy 24" lcd - concerned about input lag/gfx

FWIW, we've got a 24" Dell at home, and put in a 7300gs or some crap, and it has no problems. At work we've got a 7100 powering two 22"s with no problems. Bottom line, I don't think your card is going to be a problem :)

Trouble retrieving address book / contacts from Active Directory

In your example, you put the OU as customers. That gives me an Object doesn't exist on server error. It seems to get anything about this 'customers' folder I have to use CN=customers,CN=Microsoft Exchange System Objects,DC=domain etc.... I presume the fact this is coming up as CN instead...

Trouble retrieving address book / contacts from Active Directory

Basically, I'm to write an application for logging technical support calls / issues etc. and would like to use the existing customer contacts database to log who called in etc. I've been informed that LDAP is how I should be retrieving this information. All of our contacts are stored in a...

Need sane organization for 20,000+ Pictures - HELP

As for changing colours (I'm English, sorry) of folders, you could create shortcuts to them and change the icons for them. I don't think you'd be able to do it any other way. I'm sure there's simpler free programs that will show you about duplicate files, I know for a fact that a program...

Best TV card that works fine with Windows 2000?

Based in the UK (if that makes any difference), so will be receiving UK DVB-T signal, we have 2 TVs on freeview, so signal is reasonable here. Record one channel whilst watching another would be nice, but is by no means mandatory. Can't seem to find any up to date advice on what's the best...

    Mushkin RAM

Using Mushkin XPs here, 2x1GB. Haven't pushed them too far, but have been faultless in the months I've had them. If you find a good price, or don't mind it, pull the trigger :)

    100% pure sex

Ditto. That was like a GT5 ad (what with it having Ferrari's and all), but with some Shell BS at the end. If GT5 actually reproduced sounds like that, there'd be thousands of men across the world constantly tingling. Here's hoping I guess. Awesome ad.

Why do people like manual transmissions?

If I had to sit in traffic a lot, then an automatic would have a certain appeal, as fine, sitting in traffic going first > second > first > second over and over isn't fun. That's the only time I'd think yeah, I want an auto. In normal driving, changing gear is just a natural process you don't...

    Human Life Poll breaks down

Ignoring the grammar, think outside the box man. You only 'know' something must have come from something because that is all your brain has ever experienced. I am far from saying some sort of 'God' is real, just encouraging you to further appreciate the limits of your mind, as a mere human...

    Build me the best system

The Core 2 Duo. Why? Because it's a faster processor in real terms, and it even has more cache. And that cache is shared, so when you rn a game, you'll probably have almost 4MB of cache for that core, which is bound to make some sort of difference. Either way, a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo is faster...
