Here is my PC's config:
Asus P5B-E Plus, E6600, 2GB ram, Bios set SATA as ACHI.
SATA1 connected with an IDE-to-SATA adaptor to an IBM 80GB IDE HDD. This is the bootable Windows XP Pro system disk. Driver for ACHI already installed.
SATA3,4,5 connected to 3 Seagate 320GB SATA2 HDDs...
Thanks all for the info, esp the power supply calculator John gave. It shows me how oc can affect the power consumption so much! This is what I haven't think of before.
