The computer is a Dell and there was a SATA driver on the site which I DLed and installed. I tried to find out the original MB model but being Dell I'm probably screwed on that.

I got the old system to run again, but when I retried the new system with my old HD it DID recognize it but it would show boot up option screen where I can load Safe Mode or Continue Normally in which either choice just send it back into a loop of restarting and going through the whole process...
