    Get some paste. Radio Shack sells decent paste...think they call it thermal grease. Apply thin layer only to top of processor.

    You may break them, but it can be done. I did it and they didn't break.

    GlobalWind FOP32 for Athlon T'Bird 800

    Original FOP32 works fine, although you may need to cut away the protruding rib on the contact surface of the heatsink.
