i dont think its the right drive you linked to. that drive there looks to be with an 8x dvd player. looking at the cendyne, to me looks like the ricoh mp7120a.
Hey guys have you looked at the cendyne 12x10x32 drive and the ricoh mp7120a 12x10x32. i remember that cedyne has used ricoh drives in the past and these two drives look almost identical except for the bezel color and logos. only thing missing is burnproof.
No these are not genuine factory cartridges, if they were, they would cost atleast $20 a pop for black. The website says they are COMPATIBLE, meaning either they take old cartridges and refill or are made by some third party. I would suggest against getting these for an especially for an epson.
I looked on Teac Japan, and there the 512E has some form of burnproof technology, it just may have been that teac hasn't updated their website yet on their current stock of the 512EB's.
