anyone know? for the upgrade version

I'm going on my 4th seagate in 5 month span. Everytime I replaced, it went in a different computer so I know its not the maching killing it. These are the 20.4 gig drives, Seagate has been good about replacing, but its a pain the arse! Whats up.

I called DSL co., Its a known problem that this NIC will not work with their gateway, they recommend that ppl don't buy a Dell computer.

Wasup with this integrated NIC (on MB), will not work with my DSL provider, otherwise fine on network and will connect with the Cable company. Anyone have this problem?

Just run setup from w98, and choose new install, then you can repair after the reboot

Do you really trust this download, MS says nothing about revision a. Also file is 24 meg, original DX8 is only 11 meg!!! W2k DX8 was only 7 meg, math doesnt seem right.

Definitely the hot surface ignitor has gone bad, check the milliamp feedback from the pilot sensor, and watch the diagnostic led's for a clue. Get back asap.

older monitors had less pins. If pins are broken off, your screwed unless you can get the orignal cable from the manufacturer. Good luck!

My experience has been that the system is buggy if your running any version of Win9x (including ME). Win2K is by far the most stable for running 2 monitors. Still, watching movies etc will cause my system to crash if I use the slave monitor.
