    Registered DDR for 2+ modules?

    :confused: I would like to know if it is true that I will need registered RAM modules whenever I put more than 2 modules on a motherboard. I am thinking about 1.5G RAM with 3 512M modules but the registered RAM is way more expensive than the non-registered ones.
