Thanks for the replies. posted this otw to work and didn't have time to check it. Yes I am building a whole new system. Trying not to spend more than $800, but that is for EVERY thing. Dont think I am in the spot just yet for a Quad core, and everyone I know says it is best to go intell atm.

AS of today the E5200 is 72.99 adn the E8400 is 164.99. Is it worth the extra $90 for the E8400 on a low budget build Do I plan on overclocking.... not sure, if it is easy enough to figure out as I have never done it b4. Will be using cpu in a low budget gaming pc
