Great board. Very picky with memory. TwinMos 3200 is highly recommended.

I have the 8rda+ and these boards are very picky about what memory is used. Also SP1 should be installed before installing the 2.03's. Temp's look a bit high to me, my cpu usually runs about 10c above case temp with MBM5. Idle 39C to Load 45C on my 2100XP. You may need to bump the voltage a bit...

I went into C:\Program Files\Messenger\ and rename msmsgs to msmsgs.old Some of the other methods can cause your email program to hesitate on startup. Found that out the hard way.

I have two sticks of Twinmos 3200 in my 8RDA+ and it works fine. Less expensive than Corsair. Very Satisfied with this board, but then again I moved up from a K6-2+ so I probably would have been happy with anything.

Could the 1.6 V reading be your VDD voltage instead of your core voltage?

I have this drive and I am using Nero 5540. Nero 5535 supports this drive as well. I too have a Plextor re-badge and would like to add Plextor firmware but haven't been able to locate enough information to do so.

Look under options-security-custom level-download in IE to see if file downloads are enabled. Only thing I can think of.
