Is it possible to use a apply monitor on a regular PC trough dvi? I been looking on apply m9177 and m9178. And are they any good?

What I really fear is ghosting. So if the alternative is Sony PREMIERPRO SDM-P234 or equal expensive apple. I will take that into consideration. I rather use 2000$on a good screen then 1000$ on something that irritates me each time I play a game.
