WOW runs fine on Win 64. :-)

It makes plenty of sense sooner it is out the sooner drivers will be created. I am up and running on it and the only driver I am missing is my printer: Samsun ML-1740.

SP2 fixed it though it was not listed in MS documents as a fix. I had been waiting to load SP2 on this box as when I did the first time it had some major issues. The average read speed did not increase much and is arounf 60-66MBs, but the burst is up around 100-110MBs. So not too bad...

Also I get 66MB/sec already just at 100 by the way. With bursts to just under 90.

I agree its not that big of jump, but a lot of little bits add up. The bios sees it at DMA 6, so I don't think it is the bios and it is up to date.

Yes that is very true, but the one I have still has some life in it, and I don't feel like building a who new PC right now. So the CPU/VID Card upgrade should be enough for a few months. Kyle

Well that is why I might just do the video card now, but i'm wondering how much lacking 8x AGP will matter? I could then do the mobo, cpu when the bus speed goes beyond 333mhz. Kyle

Thats interesting... Now i'm more confused. 2400XP is only $100, but I don't think it will be that much faster than my 1600xp. 9600pro is about $180. So I can get both for about $280, but from the looks of your post it might be better to just get the vid card. Hmm... Kyle
