i just redid a comp because of this @#*^%% program. did a cleanup with adaware AND spybot S&D and it still had traces screwing it up so i formated and reinstalled. good luck

are the CD's of the photos your storing ? opening alot of pics uses alot of memory. you might want to get another 512 stick if you do this often . if you have the page file locked down to a set amount , you might try upping it . not sure if it will help good luck

didn't say what OS , but in xp i backup and use disk managment to blast and rebuild. then i restore my info. good luck
