Problem solved!. I used the router's installation CD and went step by step from the beggining. Thank you guys for all the help.

No luck. Maybe it has to do with the registration of the modem: (HFC MAC ID: XXXXXXXXXXXX) Or possibly the only MAC Address they recognize is the modem's. Did you register your modem after setup?

Yes I did. ...and I saw that many other peeps have the same router and same service...but I can't find any details. Did you use DHCP or Static IP Address?

Got it. Thanks guys. I hooked a SPDT switch for 5 and 12 volts and it's working fine. I get the benefit of a silent pc and when needed the full cooling power. At 5 volts I can get RPM readings of 2637 and at 12 volts 6027.
