I second BrownTown. Although it may very well be possible that your OS is the program causing the memory leak. When the RAM runs out and the OS has to refer to Virtual Memory to bring in pages, it takes SIGNIFICANTLY longer.

I have the P180 and the Corsair HX-620, and the cables are long enough. See here. Note that the 620 can also run 8800GTX in SLI, as seen here. You might also want to look into an Seasonic M if you want cable modularity. I got the Corsair because it had a 20$ rebate at ZZF.
