Mazda3: PO304 Cylinder 4 Misfire? (Update: Sparkplug missing tip!)

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the exact issue in the exact cylinder. I have a 2004 Mazda 3 2.3L. Did you ever find a solution to your problem?
