Very interesting thread, but it's still making me think there's something SPECIFIC about video playback. IE something specific on the motherboard is having a problem, and it only relates to video playback, not 3D Accelleration (IE it doesn't happen in games.)

Anyone overclocking the FSB? I'm beginning to think these latest Nvidia Nforce chipsets may be half baked. Google is hitting a lot of issues.... :(

If you push the cards hard they'll take more power and heat up--- could be that something to do with the hardware video accelleration... Doesn't Nvidia tout their special "media processors" on those new chipsets to help you render video etc, HD, etc etc? Wonder if something on the motherboard...
Wow... that looks like old school memory corruption on the video card.
Are the cards possibly overheating?
The way the corruption appeared around the cursor icon reminded me of old school RAM issues with arcade machines....
Anyone try checking if it's heat related?
