I played Fallout 3 but I could never really get into it. It wasn't really that immersive to me, and I didn't like the combat system at all.

Yeah I tried again with the same results. It's definitely out of my control. I think the sensors might be reporting wrong or something. I highly doubt my 4870 would run cooler than my processor.

I completely rewired the case with much better wire management, reseated the heatsink, and my results are the same or worse. What gives? This makes no sense. I used less than half the paste I used in the first attempt.

coretemp has me at 47 and realtemp has me at 37 haha either way I guess I'll just remount. How should I grease this bad boy up this time? I'm thinking I'll just fill in the areas where the pipes cross the aluminum so it's all flat and even.

Is that the thermal case temperature or the actual core temperature?

While I know they're not dangerous, my e8400 idles at roughly 44C and is about 50-55 under load. I have a core contact freezer, and I think these temps are much higher than they should be. Is it likely that I didn't include enough thermal grease with the heat sink?

Does anyone know how I can get linux drivers? There was mention of them being available on the ati disk, but my sapphire card doesn't have them.

I guess it's not really worth it haha I just think it's weird that there's no standard size for the plug. I guess coolermaster could be to blame. I could probably just split the connector down the middle and do it that way. Reversing the + and - won't hurt anything if I mess up right?

The power LED connections don't match. The case has a 2 pin connector, but the motherboard has a 2 pin, 3 wide connector. Is there any kind of adapter that would be cheap to buy or should I just live with non-standard connection sadness?

My comp has been acting not so nice lately, and I checked the temps on my graphics cores. Idling in windows, I get 64C and 79C which I think is way too high. Any idea what could be causing this?

If I buy a DS3R for an E8400, will it work right away or will the BIOS need to be flashed to a newer version?
