Go to Device manager and select display adapter. From there you must be able to uninstall the driver. -->my computer -->right click --> device manager --> display adapter --> uninstall. just check if this works

If you are trying to play HD-DVD on WMP, the encoder does not support. If its a normal dvd then try un-installing the drivers --> cleanup the registry and reinstalling it..

I am not really trying to copy the content. I wanted to know how the process exactly works and how does the system understand and identify that its copy protected. I am aware of safedisc which is a technology for copy protection but how does it work.
