    Motorcycle tire size

Got the sensor part wrong, but the number after section width is the aspect ratio in percent. This is the sidewall height in relation to the tread width. See sidewall aspect ratio.

    Motorcycle tire size

It would be 12 fewer mm, but that still shouldn't effect your speedometer reading. I would imagine that speed is based off the drive wheel (rear wheel) relationship to the drive train, not how fast the front wheel is turning; so as long as the rear wheel outer diameter is stock, there will be...

Saw a weird gold car today that said "CHEVY"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Corsa The "Chevy" is the Mexican version; see them often in the US near the border.

Weird occurances dealing with electricity within my house

When was your house built? If it is an older house, do you have aluminum wiring? I concur with a few of the other posters that it seems like an intermittent open circuit which is a very bad thing. If you put a high load on one of these circuits (hair dryer, etc.) and it cuts out like that...

DOOD, I never knew what a lobotomy was,

Rusk? I used to drive through there on my way to Dallas. I have heard that one or more of the guys from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre were locked up there. Don't know if it's true. That place gives me the creeps just driving by.

    Stripper Rock Songs

"A Lap Dance Is So Much Better When the Stripper is Crying" - Bloodhound Gang (pretty nasty toward the end though) "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" - Revolting Cocks (I've heard this in every strip club I've been to)

    Any electricians out there?

Actually, your water heater will make a bigger difference than you think. Assume it is a 4500W unit (typical for a 50gal tank). It is either on or off; so assume a 30% duty cycle to keep your water up to temperature; also depends on your temperature set point. 4.5kW * 720 (hours per month)...

    Any electricians out there?

You've stated that your new house has an electric water heater. How about central heating, clothes dryer, stove top, oven? Were these gas at your old house as well? If they are electric at your new house, then that is why your bill is comparatively high. Install a timer on your water heater...

    Lake disappears

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: JeffreyLebowski Is there a salt mine or deposit below that lake. There was a lake in Louisiana that an oil company accidentally drilled in the wrong spot and exposed the lake water to a salt mine, and drained the lake and the whirlpool...

Any power engineers here? Running transformers past their rating

I'm a power engineer for a large industrial complex and don't know capabilities of these smaller transformers. I wouldn't imagine the transformer manufacturer overdesigning their products by 900%; that is money on the table they are giving up. Internal temperature is the main thing to look at...
