:( That's too bad about the board then. I've only had it for a year or so. No overclocking, no misuse, hardly any dust in the case either. It's in a cool well ventilated area and has a nice air cooling system. Oh well :shrug: So...if I get the ASUS Nforce2 Delux should I keep my PC2100...

I may be way off the mark here and I know that creative hogs the PCI bus causing that latency problem, but are you getting sound crackling in Windows or in some other application/game? Sorry I can't be more of a help just yet :)
