I'm planning on softmodding my original xbox but all the guides online are from like 2003-2005. What does everyone do today? I have splinter cell and a memory card I can hook up to my computer. My priorities with it will be XBMC and emulators (SNES, N64, PS1 atleast).

Alright so I now know that HDMI to DVI would give me the best picture. Will the Xbox 360 display 1280 x 720 with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen over this connection? (on a 1280 x 1024 monitor)

I've read this but if I use just a tiny but adequate amount of AS5 I should be fine? I don't want to mess up my card.

Well is there anything I can do? Can one buy thermal pads? Can I use Arctic Silver Ceramique? I heard it is safe for memory modules.
