Hiya guys, I'm having some pretty servere frustrations with my intel lan controller on my p8p67 deluxe main board. Quite simply put, it's not working, I can move the ethernet cable to the realtek controller and it works fine. So what i'm wondering is there any way at all to troubleshoot or...
Thats actualy a defect that the earlier models share. You can go to their website and send an rma request for a new linear fan controller if you would like. Their customer service is top notch in my humble opinion.
I have built 4 sb systems 2 using asus boards and 1 each gigabyte and msi. The msi board impressed me the most from a cost to features point of view and gave no trouble at all (the gigabyte was also very nice.) Can't say that for the asus boards, they gave me fits.
Who on this earth would be concerned about playing Brink regardless of fps. That game is the letdown of a lifetime, and anyone who ever attends quakecon knows what an nvidia circle jerk looks like, so no real surprise here.
They replaced my p8p67 deluxe last week no questions asked, they didn't even look inside the box and they insisted on replacing the CPU as well. I was a very very pleased customer!
My asus p8p67 deluxe has been freezing at the asus logo screen randomly since sp1 windows update. It's not a new b3 version as micro center still doesn't have the replacements.
I'm seriously thinking about giving that sapphire board a go when they start to hit the market. I believe I read that the team designing boards for sapphire is a group that left EVGA to work on sapphire's new board program.
also i'm a little sad they aren't still white.
I am under the impression that the only p67 boards that offer x16/x16 are those equipped with the nividia nf200 chip of which the asus p8p67 ws revolution is the cheapest at 269. However I also wont rule out the possibility that I am totally and completely wrong.
