Nvidia says the earliest drivers usable with a GTX 950 are 355.xx and later. Has anyone tried using 353.xx or earlier with a 950?

I've got a gigabyte ga-b75m-d3v motherboard that's 3 years old. UEFI bios. Bios has been upgraded to F10, but that's still 3 years old; newest bios is F13 which is 2 years old. I've got a GTX 650 on their now. Want to upgrade to a GTX 950, but I'm wondering if my board will take it without yet...
