Neither my mouse or keyboard ps2 ports are working on my new ax8 mobo. I get no POST codes, it boots fine otherwise. I have to use my case USB connectors to get the keyboard/mouse to work, attempting to use the ax8 usb ports gives me a POST code 5.2. abit ax8 mobo amd 3000+ 64 venice 4x...

I've decided that I want this board because of the space it gives everything, and the passive NB heatsink. No oc'ing, no crazy stuff, just a home PC. I've heard it's anal with RAM, but would like to know if anybody uses it with Samsung RAM.

Have you considered going for the antec smartpower power supply, they are the newer version of the truepower (and are apparently quieter).

Um, I don't play any games, so those cards are a bit too much for me, just looking for something to handle 3d modelling.

I'm planning on putting the thermaltake g0003 heatsink on this card, but I need to know if it has mounting holes on the PCB. I'm only going to purchase the card if it does, does anybody know for sure?
