My PSU is pretty weak, but why would that cause even my old configuration to stop working? I threw my old amd 1.33ghz athlon back in and it does the same thing.

I have kingston 128pin DDR400...I believe 300 power PSU?

No dice...put it in, everything boots up properly, but still nothing on te screen. Not even a flicker. Hmm, well it will work in my old mobo says that thing (its a 2600+ 333 barton) so I guess it's worth a shot...wish I could use my new mobo though...I'll tell you how it goes.

Problem is, I want a faster CPU, and I think the A7V333 only supports up to like 2ghz, am I incorrect?

did all of that...its a new cpu, new mobo...my question though is do I need ram in the computer to get a POST? Cause I think that might be the problem because this ram isn't specific to the motherboard. But the motherboard supports DDR400 which it is. Everythings been reseated again and again :(

Ok resetting the CMOS was good, now stuff is powering up (CD-ROMS, etc) and its making good noises, but still nothing showing up on the screen. I tried using both the onboard video card (nForce2 or something?) and my radeon 9600...but nothing happens with either. Any suggestions?

Alright I will try that. Another question: is it possible to get a POST with no memory in it? What is the bare minimum I need to have in it to have a POST? Thanks in advance.
