Glad we are starting to see what this is. So the Store is allowing us to have apps installed that have the potential to lock us out of their Microsoft accounts. That is so great!

As stated in the OP, this only happened on one account, the Microsoft account. My main account is just a standard username and password.

I have never known windows search to pull up words/code inside a pdf. Browser will open a pdf, but not search for words/code without that pdf being manually opened already (that I have seen). Found a fix, appears to be an issue with KB5041582 (currently an optional update). I did remove a couple things from Windows startup, but no change. Uninstalled KB5041582, and sign in is back to normal. I did a little looking, not a lot, but didn't see anyone else reporting this.

So, Google apparently hasn't reached the level of Amazon searches. I wonder if they are aiming for that? Lol.
