fixed. I reinstalled windows, mounted and unmounted. followed a bunch of tutorials and it is fixed. I have no idea what it was that finally fixed but at this point I am just glad it's fixed. Thanks to you all for the help. David
It worked until I rebooted and then the same thing to insert a disk. I reinstalled windows from an iso and it worked until I rebooted and then back to insert media. Very frustrating.
It is a Samsung t5 ssd 1tb. Windows 10. When I go under my computer It shows the drive but when I right click on it and click properties it shows 0. Under disk management it says removeable H: no media. I hope this helps you to help me. Lol thank you for taking the time.
Im an old guy who needs some help. I bought an external Samsung ssd. I plug it in and it shows under my computer but when I click on it says please insert a disk? I changed the drive letter but that didn't help. I have tried to run the troubleshooter but starts and then gives me an error. Thanks...
