the thing is, my comp is in a diff country, and i wanna buy ram in the states. So if i buy a stick of 256 pc100, will it work with a pc133 motherboard? Also, will I notice a considerable difference in performance IF my motherboard is pc133?
I have a question, I don't know whether or not my system uses pc100 or pc133 ram and I can't find out either. If I just buy pc133 ram, will it be compatible no matter what? Thank you!
i called up, they said that the price SHOULD be 2249.98...hehe, someone forgot a 2. Anyway, I got my order in, but I had to pay tax, GRRRRR....15 bux for tax...bringing my total to 276.23. Hope I at least get SOMETHING out of this. If not, I will call up sony and have a chat with them
thanks...i don't know if you read the hot deals forum...but if you do, would you suggest i go for the crucial memory or jump on the cheap kingston memory? or do you suggest some other brand of memory?
thanks for the speedy response...however, i still don't fully understand. is my best bet to buy the CL2 ram? How can I find out if I have CL2 or CL3 ram in my computer now?
Hi, I'm looking to add an additional 128 megs of ram to my Gateway Performance 800. From reading in your forums, crucial ram seems to be top quality so I want to get a stick of that. THe problem is when I went to there site, I found out that for 128 megs...there are two choices, CL2 and CL3...
Is there anyway to get the rebate form other than going to Fry's? I want to buy this drive, compUSA will pricematch it, but I have no way of getting the rebate form I need. Any idea of what to do? please e-mail me or post again in the forum, thanks!
