Cleaning old cat pee out of floors

I actually tried that before I posted and I read several articles. I just wanted to post so I could get a person's response for my particular situation rather than a canned internet response.

Cleaning old cat pee out of floors

I have a circular saw, but the problem covers the entire closet floor all the way up to all 3 walls. I don't think I can cut all the way up to the walls with my saw, maybe 4 or 5 inches from the walls but not all the way. I could try getting a different type of cutting tool perhaps.... If I...

Cleaning old cat pee out of floors

Hi, I just bought a house (fixer upper) and the previous owner had several cats as pets. It seems that in one particular closet on the second floor the cats decided to pee as much as they wanted and the owner didn't do anything about it. It's been two weeks since the owner moved out and I've...

    Vitamins P, B and R

I remember PBR. Once, a friend and I were drinking it, and after a number of beers I asked him, "hey, why do you think they call it PBR?" He responded back to me, "It stands for Punk Rock Beer. You drink it when you're rocking out to punk." It wasn't until later that we realized how dumb that...

moving a load bearing wall in a doublewide

I'm not certain, but I believe that moving the wall about a foot will place it over the truss. I'd have to crawl under the building to be sure. As for how is the ceiling supported while moving the wall, I was hoping one you you all had an idea.

moving a load bearing wall in a doublewide

There is a crawlspace underneath this one, I haven't gone in it though since it's only about 3.5 feet high. Tornadoes are very unlikely in this part of the country. I'm aware that prefabbed homes don't do as well on the market as stick built homes. That's one of the reasons I'm interested...

moving a load bearing wall in a doublewide

Hello, I'm looking at buying a house, and I found one that's a good deal, except for one thing. In the bathroom There is a load bearing wall that was not possitioned correctly over the floor supports when the house was first built. Because of this, the floor in the bathroom sank three...

    wine compatibility

I'm sure there are a lot of programs that it runs just fine. I'm just currious if it's truely possible to use the official microsoft files instead of the open source copies to get maximum compatibility. I have a few applications I'd like to run that I know are quirky as hell: Orcad, ModelSim...

    wine compatibility

So, I'm looking at building a linux rig, but before I do, I'm currious about wine. It supposedly lets you run windows apps in linux, but from looking at their web site it looks like a signifficant portion of the API is still unimplemented. I read somewhere that you can use windows .dll files to...

uATX integrated mobo for linux use

Hi. I'm looking at doing a build for a linux system. I would like to build a uATX linux system. (Haven't decided the flavor yet. I'm new to linux) Anyways, I want to keep the system low cost. In the spirit of that, I would like to use an integrated graphics board. I haven't decided intel or amd...

    uATX Update

Also, please look into Linux compatibility for the motherboards. I want to build a low cost mATX linux system with (maybe?) an integrated graphics chipset, but I don't want compatibility issues. I don't know what platform to go for because I don't know if any of the recent chipsets have decent...

Did anyone else notice that flash memory has almost doubled in price in the past two weeks? What's up with that?

how to send data out a different NIC depending on its destination

Do I unbind TCP/IP on both NICs? Does NetBEUI work well? My primary (internet) network is 100Mbps, but my secondary is 1Gb. Does that matter? What about playing Unreal Tournament on the LAN? Where will that traffic go?

how to send data out a different NIC depending on its destination

I've got several computers all running Windows xp. They all have 2 NICs in them. Right now I'm only using one of the NICs and they're all connected to the same network which is also connected to the internet. What I want to do is hook up a second network between all my computers and when one...
