I have this same MOBO and am considering upgrading to the Phenom II X4 940. According to HP's site this chip isn't an upgrade option but obviously it's possible. Did you have to update the BIOS? What BIOS version do you have? Any other issues other than simply swapping the CPUs? I don't...
