Is anybody running two Matrox g450 in a pci configuration?
I?ve run quads before and when using an agp slot with a pci I had a lot of lag and the machine performance was hurt to the point of being very noticeable.
I already have one pci g450 would you add another one?
Will they work well...
I did want to run a third monitor. but didnt like the slow down which is awful.
Whats other people doing?
The cost of a quad card that has any speed for games is not worth the cost.
Running a mx 460 dual out and put in a pci mx 440.
Now everything has slowed down. and sugestions?
I have a MSI's FX5700-VT2DR256 graphics card
on the way but am lerry of running the second card.
Does the lowest card speed rual the box?
Thanks Peter
I am running the 450 pci on an amd mis via chip set and it does a fine job at work.
It was a hand me down with the two ports so that what I used. so I have an open agp slot.
I like the 2d on the Matrox.
Would I do better to up grade to a higher matrox card that the 450?
Now at home...
At work: Anybody running the Matrox 450 agp with a 450 pci?
Like it ?
I have a 450 pci at work and want to add the thired or more monitor.
At home: Not installed going to run a mx 440 pci with my msi mx 460 agp.
Like the looks of the new msi FX5700-VT2DR256
Might try that with the mx 440 pci
