Harmony 670 remote with Xbox 360?

Just to clarify my previous post, I added the A, B, X, and Y buttons to the LCD so they were readily accessible. Again, very easy to do.

Harmony 670 remote with Xbox 360?

I have the 670 and it works perfectly with the 360 with very little effort. I did have to customize the LCD so that it displays the four face buttons for easy access, but this is easily done and is strictly a matter of personal preference. 670 is all in all a great remote.

Equalizer for X-Fi or Windows Itself ?

I second Puffnstuff. Youppax is the only way to go with an x-fi in vista. I don't mess with ALchemy (only have 2.1 speakers) so I don't know if there is any added benefit in gaming.

    Vista CPU score?

I have a s939 amd x2 4400+ at 2.6, which translates to the same specs as an FX-60 at stock speeds. My CPU score is a 5.2 - the lowest score in my system.

    Vista video corruption

I can't offer any help, but I can tell you that you're not alone. The common denominator (other than Vista) seems to be a 7900GT, which I also use.

Will I need a new PSU for an 8800GTX?

Sweet. Thanks to all who responded.

Will I need a new PSU for an 8800GTX?

I'll soon be outfitting the rig in my signature with an 8800GTX or comparable card from AMD/ATi. I am guessing my 520w power supply won't get the job done, and I'm considering upgrading to the Corsair 620w PSU to be better-equipped for the new video card. Any thoughts on whether or not the new...

Serious business = Vista and Audio!

This may be somewhat off-topic, but anyone owning an X-Fi and using Vista: I highly recommend the you-pax Vista software for X-Fi. It's basically a modded version of the original Creative CD that comes with the x-fi, but it works for Vista. This software puts the once-crippled x-fi...

    Negative. Still sucks.

~ ~ QuickTime users, on Mac or PC: update to 7.1.6 now. ~ ~

Question: Why has Apple STILL not fixed the quicktime bug that ruins playback from a SATA HD in Windows Vista???

    WTF is wrong with Apple?

My big problem with iTunes on Vista deals with the video playback -- its absolutely horrible. I haven't had any problems w/music playback or iPod sync, but the video playback is so choppy and slow that it is unwatchable, and I'm not exaggerating. I have a good comp too - 2gigs of ram, FX60...

Command & Conquer 3 [Official Thread]

The IGN review seems to confirm that while the game is very good, there are definitely balance issues. GDI seems to be way too powerful in the late game, a la Mammoth Tanks. They also say EA is working on a balancing patch that will be out soon.

    Vista & Nvidia Drivers

Nforce drivers are fine...just change your graphics drivers. Linkage: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_101.41.html EDIT: I also installed the AMD dual-core optimizer on my vista rig, but to be honest I don't know if it made much difference....just a thought.

    Vista & Nvidia Drivers

With your setup, you should install the 101.41 beta drivers WITHOUT QUESTION. Those are the best drivers around at this point for any Nvidia card, and the fact that you have SLI makes it even more important you go with these, as they're the first drivers to enable SLI in Vista. They're very...

    shrinking a partition in vista

The program you are looking for is called GParted. It is a non-destructive disk partitioning tool that can shrink a pre-existing partition. I recently used it to shrink my existing Vista partition (the only one on my HDD) so I could dual boot to XP. It's Linux based, so you'll need to...
